This painting is in acrylic and interference paint on watercolour paper. It evokes wonderment.
The inspiration from a heavy dew on the fairway grass at the start of a winter’s day on my local golf course. When golf balls flew through the air to land in the watery grass to a halt shortly after.

This painting is in acrylic on lightly primed canvas. Colours join up when paint is brushed onto the wet canvas section then left to settle. Results are a surprise. Different brushes and marks with blending between sections.
The rolled area is inspired by the light energy in the sea shore from small creatures including Plankton.

Spot On Spots is a happy together story of lightness and fun.
Painted in acrylic on lightly primed canvas. Colours join up when paint is dropped in spots onto the wet canvas part, left to settle. Results are surprising, comic and fun as the spots expand. This time together we skip, dance and run in the sunlight.

Golf – Deep Water inspired by Intelligent Golf software which shows colours for scores. Sky blue for birdies, yellow for eagles and bright green for albatrosses. There is usually some deep water somewhere, whether state of play or ponds and lakes!

Networking is inspired by water and movement. The fun of painting a ‘moving net’ then the almost transparency of the white ribbon hinting at the movement of people making connections through the ‘net’. The solid shapes where strong connections are made. Friendships to working together or supporting our community. And any other possible route on our life’s journey. Connecting is feeling good.

In this year of the Winter Olympics 2018, an inspiring reminder of making fresh tracks in the snow with my skis on a glacier mountain skiing with blue sky and sunshine. Fun in the crisp clean air over frozen blue water passing the pine trees, hopefully safely. Happy memories. Now is the moment for making new tracks.
